EXERCISES FOR THE HANDS OF THE PIANIST (Giorgio Lanzani)
1 Take a
tennis ball first with the right hand hand then with
the left and squeeze strong with every fingers of the hand. To repeat 5 times.

Take the ball first with the thumb and all the fingers of the dx hand and then of the sx hand and
squeeze strong 5 times.
3 Slap the
ball and make it rebound on the ground with the fingers of two hands for a ten
of times.
4 Pull the
tennis ball against the wall in a short-term distance taking it on the wind 10
times with the dx hand and 10 with the sx hand. When you take it squeeze
strong.
5 Pull the
tennis ball against a wall to a certain distance taking it of rebound with the sx hand and dx 20 of times.
6 Take the
tennis ball with the fingers of both the hands and rotate the hands turning it inside.
7 Take the
ball with the fingers of both the hands and pull it in opposite directions
doing an exercise of stretching of the duration of about ten seconds, short
pause and again for other ten seconds.
8 Lean the
ball over a plan and lean the fingers of the dx hand
first and of the sx, then doing pressure on the ball
and roll backwards and forwards
9 Take the
ball with the forefinger and thumb of the dx and sx hand: pull in opposite sense for about ten
seconds.
10 Take the
ball with middle finger and thumb of the dx and sx hand: pull in opposite sense for about ten
seconds.
11 Take the
ball with ring finger and thumb of the dx and sx hand to, pull in opposite
sense for about ten seconds.
12 Take the tennis ball with the little finger and thumb
of the dx and sx hand: pull
in opposite sense for about ten seconds.
13 Take a
stick of wood about a meter long of the greatest weight of

If you will
do these exercises every days you will get of it a big benefit in particular
way if you are concert/player and have to
play on
concert pianos that ask for a considerable effort to move the keys.
