The disheartened mind
of the lonely thinker
is the real mirror
of our age.
For a long time
we have been pursuing
the mirage
of a happy age
of a real peace
of a widespread joy.
It isn't worth the memory or the present
to console the heart of the poet
who finds in his lines the peace
that isn't somewhere else.
